3.5" long. The metal-covered right-hand end pulls out and reveals a pencil although very little remains other than a small stub and its lead. Front of piece has the text we quoted along with image of speedometer. Reverse reads "Manufactured By The Corbin Screw Division/The American Hardware Corporation/New Britain, Conn." Celluloid wrap around the metal case has some extremely tiny indenting. There is a little on the front although it is near invisible. Just a little bit more on the back and just a trifle visible. Overall still displays extremely fine and the only example we've seen.
