Item Description
21 pieces in this group are pinbacks with the average size being around 2.25". The item from "Western/DC-10 Spaceship" with mod art style is a mirror rather than a pinback. Earliest piece seems to be the one from 1946 showing a "TWA" plane and reading "Cosmopolitan International Tenth Annual Convention." 1/8" gray dot on the rim but rest is clean and rest of lot is Exc. to Mint. Earlier items (pre-1970s) include "Northeast Air Lines" temporary employee badge, 1969 button for golf tournament "National Airlines Open." Combination leather and plastic clip/badge for "Republic Aviation." One from 1955 showing airplane and reading "Stevenson-Cascade Locks-Fly In Celebration." Among the more recent issues are numerous for Israeli "El Al" as well as KLM, Pan Am, Air Afrique and several others.
