Item Description
Lot of nine 4x5-7/8" magazines published between 1951-1959. Titles include "Show, Man's Point Of View (2 issues) People Today (6 issues) Focus." Published by Hillman, Atlas and Publication Management Corp. Covers feature Jayne Mansfield, Brigitte Bardot, Lili St. Cyr (2 covers) and Irish McCalla among others. Magazine contents include bw photos of Marilyn Monroe, Mitzi Gaynor, Bardot, Eartha Kitt, Sally Rand, Mamie VanDoren, Marlene Dietrich, McCalla, Gay Dawn, Anita Eckberg, Bettie Page, June Wilkinson, Lena Horne and many others. Articles of note include articles about nudists and modern art featuring photo of nude model covered in body paint. "People Today" Vol. 12, #5 from Mar., 1956 has .75x1" chip to a page and cover is loose. Good/VG. Other issues have varying degrees of handling wear with pinch creases to spine and scattered aging. Fine overall.
