.75" "Official Souvenir" button with die-cut celluloid rwb ribbon accent which combines with pink cord to hold 1.25" brass medallion showing the boxers in a ring with oil derricks in the bkg. and above the boxers' head are the words "Oil City." Rim edge reads "Championship Dempsey-Gibbons Shelby, Mont. July 4, 1923." Reverse is blank. Tiniest loss of luster. Rare and Exc. Only example we've seen. In the recently-issued boxing collectibles book by Paul Muchinsky with a value of $400-$700.
