Item Description
Like item #657, this was a most popular design available from Whitehead & Hoag. It was used throughout the midwest in 1898-1900 and has its original W&H backpaper used only during those years. While we've seen it from several different cities and states, we don't recall this imprint "Richmond Street Fair/Carnival." Exc. and displays Mint. Superb, particularly deep color.
