Item Description
7/8" which has W&H backpaper from 1900-1901. Shows giant lion representing the British empire. From his jaws he holds a dangling man by the seat of his pants. Man has tiny rifle hanging helplessly from his hands. We believe the man depicted is Piet Joubert who was Commandante/General of the South African Republic from 1880 to 1900. Rare and essentially Mint.
