Item Description
27x41" poster for the 1969 20th Century-Fox Film starring Rex Harrison. Included are 4 scenes from film including Dr. Dolittle riding Giant Pink Sea Snail facing Shakespeare-performing cannibals, the fabulous circus' Pushmi-Pullyu and scene with Harrison with parrot and chimpanzee. Poster has .25"-.5" tears at fold crease intersection and .25" sliver of insect damage at top center margin. Staple holes at top corners. Light moisture staining along bottom 1" margin. Fine. Complete set of eight 11x14" lobby cards showing full-color scenes from film including circus. Dr. Dolittle with parrot, Polynesia sitting amidst herd of sheep, tied at stake as cannibals begin to perform Shakespeare, scene with elephant and Pushmi-Pullyu and scene showing Dolittle riding giraffe and giving horse eye test. Scattered light moisture staining to bottom .25" of 2 cards. Corner tip wear. VF/Exc. overall.
