Item Description
Each is a 13/16" litho from the 1940s issued as part of the 86 button set. Each time a new group of buttons was issued, Superman was included. Typically, text on the bottom edge or curl reads "Copyright D.C. Inc." Example here with that wording has a slightly gray tone to its cream bkg. but N. Mint paint. Wording is different on those Superman buttons issued in the earliest group of 16 different. On this button the text reads "Copr. 1945 Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." White bkg. on this example has light tan tone to it but almost no paint loss. Out of 100 Superman Pep buttons, an average of one will have this early inscription. Comes with Hake's COA.
