Item Description
Issues 1 and 2 of 5x7.25" with 100 pages comics published by Harvey Publications. These issues are in fact the first Harvey Comics published. Aug.-Sep., 1941. Issue #1 features first appearances of The Black Cat, Cadet Blakey The Spirit of '76, The Red Blazer, The Phantom, Sphinx, The Zebra. Black Cat is featured on cover #2. Spirit of '76 fights Nazi. Issues show moderate wear, mostly to spine with pinch creases and tape repairs. Issue #2 has color touch-ups. Good/VG-.
