Item Description
5x6-7/8" booklet with full color illustrations. c. 1920s. Story deals with Buster Brown playing with his friends who proceed to dress up like famous Hollywood stars of the era, appearing in altered bw photo images. Celebrity interpretations include Charlie Chaplin, Mack Swain, Harold Lloyd, William S. Hart, Theda Bara, Louise Fazenda. Aunt Jemima-like character (Aunt Dinah) makes appearance on last page. Area on back for issuer imprint but unused. Light trace of glue stains on back from scrapbook mounting but only a few small spots of surface paper wear. 2-3/8" spine split at bottom. Cover appearance is still Fine and contents are Exc. First we've seen.
