Clock has obvious wear with .75" hairline at neck and color rubs to stomach. VG overall but upgraded clock could be easily found as opposed to rarely seen box and insert. Box features Al Capp's Li'l Abner characters including male and female Shmoos as well as Shmoo clock image. Box lid has 3 die-cut slots for inserting included insert which was used to display clock. Insert measures 7-7/8x9.75" and features images of Li'l Abner, Daisy Mae, Mammy and Pappy Yokum, Unwashable Jones with 2 Shmoon, Indian Princess Minie Mustache, Hairless Joe and Lonesome Polecat. Insert could be inserted into top of box and has metal hook to hang clock for display. Lightly aged but Exc. Box has color fade, inked price but tight and VG/Fine. Comes with original instruction papers, key and hanger mail envelope as well as guarantee paper. Guarantee paper is Fine and small instruction sheet is Exc. Rarely found complete and boxed.
