Item Description
9-7/8x10" with 52 bw pages published by MS Publishing Co. 1924. Features all original material by Milt Gross (no reprints). Book features comic strips in daily panel format plus specialty title page art showing a policeman accepting $10.00 bribe from motorist who is winking at viewer as cat goes by on scooter in bkg. saying "Banana Oil!" Another strip includes black stereotype in court for stealing chickens. Light wear and aging to cover with some corner tips rounded off. Cover is VG/Fine. Pages are tanned with age with numerous .25" corner chips with last few pages having 1x1.5" corner chips due to brittleness of pages. Good/VG overall. Scarce.
