Item Description
Approximately 8x9.5". Incised 1942 copyright on back of head. Painted plaster. Recessed back to hold string ball. Hole for string at mouth. Hanging loop at top as produced. Woody Woodpecker is shown here as he first appeared, a more zany screwball character than the more familiar 1950s look most people know. Age with light wear to some paint. Still displays Exc.
