Auction #183 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1290 in auction 183
Item Description
This is a lot of five 2.25" buttons from the Marshall Levin collection. The four buttons with his facsimile signature below may at first appear to duplicate themselves but there are major bkg. differences on 3 of these and subtle bkg. differences on one. On 3 of the buttons, the name "Jimmy Carter" is printed on a slip of paper which is sealed beneath the celluloid covering. All 3 of these buttons have Badge-A-Minit backs although one has notation from Levin collection "(G.A.) 7/10/76." The fourth button with the signature has Levin notation on back "Plains." The fifth button in the group which has no text is also from the Levin collection and was apparently used in the Primary as the Levin notation on the back has the state initials "NH." All are Exc.
