Item Description
Group of rare 1930s buttons with club sponsorship shared jointly by the "Baltimore News And American" (one button includes the word "Post") and on the large button "Loew's Theaters" while on the 2 small buttons the theater names are "WFBR Hippodrome Theater" and "WBAL Hippodrome Theater." The top button, 1.5" reads "I Have Applied For Membership In Uncle Jack's Club." This includes radio call letters "WFBR" and is the first example we've seen. The largest 1.75" button designating the rank of "Lieutenant" we believe is also a first-seen for us. All are Exc. and display Mint. Also see Loew's theater button promoting The Wizard of Oz item #994 as well as Our Gang #1107.
