Item Description
Lot consists of 8.5x10.75" envelope holding 12 sheets. c. 1940s. Each sheet with diffent image of Annie. Text on envelope includes "Orphan Annie/In Florida/Harold Gray/Greetings From Florida." Made by Exclusive Playing Card Co. Chicago. Envelope is designed for mailing. Penciled-in address area. Both sides of envelope are split and edges show wear but color remains bright and clean. Envelope Good. Included is complete set of twelve 8x10" coloring pages with raised printing in 3 colors (four each of black, silver, gold). Each image shows Florida scenes including Daddy Warbucks golfing, Annie and Sandy on the beach, Annie with alligator, Annie and Sandy finding the Fountain of Youth, Annie holding parrot, at Singing Tower and fishing. One page is neatly colored. All others remain unused and just lightly aged. Exc./N. Mint. Only the second we've seen.
