Item Description
Each card is 2-1/8" wide. Both say at top "We Welcome You To The Friends Of The Lincoln Brigade." One card has penciled date of 1938 and name of the executive secretary "Phil Bard." Second card has printed date of 1939. Each card has a nick or pinhole along with a few tiny circular stain marks where edges of button overlap the card. However, both cards remain in solid condition. Each enamel and brass badge is about 7/8" tall and the bell design on each shows a soldier and reads "Liberty In Spain." The 1938 example has top hanger reading "Friend Abraham Lincoln Brigade." The 1939 piece has same inscription but with addition of "1939" date panel at the very top. The 1938 pin has N. Mint luster. The 1939 pin is missing some luster off the bell. Only examples we've ever seen carded.
