Item Description
15.25x21.5" thin cardboard sheet with "Gordon's Wear A Davy Crockett Button" store display imprint at top with Davy Crockett image. c. 1955. Display holds one hundred 1-3/8" tin litho buttons with design mostly in bright red and yellow with black accents showing large image of Davy kneeling with rifle while in bkg. are tiny covered wagons and Indians. Display card has 2" tear at top middle margin and heavy warp. .25" area of surface paper lift at bottom middle margin. VG/Fine. Buttons show varying degrees of surface wear with tiny pinpoint nicks/scratches. One button has .75" thin streak of bare metal showing above Davy's head. Overall, buttons remain glossy and VF/Exc. overall. Great display.
