6x9.25" with 216 pages by George Lowther, published by Random House ©1942 Superman Inc. Bw illustrations throughout, beginning and ending of story chapters plus 6 full-page bw illustrations and 4 choice full-color plates. All art by Joe Schuster, co-creator of Superman. Dust jacket shows Superman flying over city and reads "Stories Are Completely New And Have Never Appeared Anywhere." Dust jacket has obvious wear at top and bottom of spine with 1.25" tear and .5" chip. Good. Page 91 has 4" tear. Age spotting to edges of pages, o/w VF.
