8.25x19.5" McClure newspaper syndicate advance sheet for Wayne Boring-drawn Superman comic strips to be released week of Dec. 4, 1961. Story deals with Superman's alter ego Clark Kent assuming Super-Kent persona and taking part in unequal boxing match. Superman archnemesis Lex Luthor appears in 2 panels reacting to Super-Kent's appearance. Folded once at center as issued, sheet is aged but Exc. Also included are 2 sets of 4 stats, each about 15.5x21" featuring the original Wayne Boring artwork for "Superman" comic strip Sunday pages from Nov. 19, 1961 - Jan. 7, 1962. All ©1961 NPP Inc. Bw pages feature Superman going back through time and visiting Atlantis and Lori Lemaris the mermaid, fighting in ancient Rome, American Revolution, Lois Lane and Perry White also making appearances. Folded once vertically and horizontally, stats show obvious handling wear with .25" tears at fold crease intersections. Fine-.
