Item Description
8.75x11.75" folder contains press kit for 1974 "Goodnight Vienna" album, Ringo Starr's fourth studio solo album. Apple Records album featured Ringo's head placed over top that of actor Michael Rennie from classic sci-fi film "The Day The Earth Stood Still" and it is this image that is seen on cover of folder. Album featured Ringo standing alongside spaceship with Gort the Robot. Folder shows moderate wear consisting mostly of color rubs and spine wear. Fine. Kit includes 6 glossy 8x10" bw photos, featuring large head being sculpted and molded to look like Ringo. 4' high head was part of 23' tall statue used to re-create "The Day The Earth Stood Still" scene. Also included in photos is portrait of Ringo and scene from previously mentioned film. Also included in kit is 2-page biography of album and 2-page typed press release. Photos and typed pages are Exc.
