Item Description
45x59.5" poster for 1964 French release of the 1963 Disney animated feature. Great graphics feature main characters Merlin, Wart and the Magnificent Marvelous Mad Madame Mim. Iconic shot of Wart removing sword from stone in bottom right-hand corner. Merlin also appears with Archmides the Owl as well as magical swirl containing Wart as fish about to be eaten by Pike, Madame Mim as mongoose, dragon and Merlin as fish with image of Sir Ector. Squirrel girl and Wart as squirrel watch Wart pull sword from stone. Great color and graphics. Moderate wear at left-hand margin at bottom with .25" to .5" tears. Moderate aging along fold lines. .25" - .5" tears at fold crease intersections. Colors remain bright and bold. Fine. From first original French release.
