Auction #195-Part II
Items 994-2570 in Auction 195
Item Description
4.75" tall. 1930s marked "Germany." China with separate removable head that has painted tin ears. We've also seen a variety with cast metal head. Missing the atomizer unit of nozzle and bulb but these could be replaced from a standard perfume bottle. This does not affect appearance for display. The inner neck of the bottle is missing a small flange to lock the head in place but head does stay in place for display. Ears have some traces of surface rust really only noticeable on the unpainted reverses. Trace of dust soiling but bright and glossy appearance and a great figural piece. Displays VF. Rare. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
