Item Description
Similar to the toy by Nifty (see items #1730-1731). There are a total of 4 varieties for this German version, two depicted with teeth and two without. Of the two with teeth there is this version which has a wide smile with row of top teeth only, the other variety has a smaller mouth with teeth on top and bottom as well as slightly different eyes. Compared to the Nifty version, the drum is quite different, drum head has no markings on top and front of drum features his name in script and includes one of Mickey's shoes as part of the first and last letter as if the text is running. Also has his portrait between the two words of his name. Complete with original separate tin tail. Works. Obvious scattered wear and aging to the paint which has some darkening, nicks and scratches. Top of drum head has some oxidation spotting. Has a .25" paint flaw at one eye. Overall VG. Much rarer and more desirable than the versions without teeth.
