Bank is 2.25x4.25x2" tall designed like a chest and came in a number of varieties (see next two items #1827-1828). Metal overlaid with lightly embossed oilcloth fabric, brass plated side panels. Designed like a brick building and on top are full figure images of Mickey and Minnie with text "Mickey Mouse Bank - Be Thrifty - Save Your Coins." On the front side is bank entrance with portraits of Mickey and Minnie at windows with additional text "Deposit Your Coins In The Mickey Mouse Bank." This variety is in deep red and has black accents to the images on top, white accents to the brick design. Missing generic key. Comes in original box featuring additional images of Mickey and Minnie along with Pluto. Box consists of lid and bottom but is missing a generic cardboard insert that held the bank in place. Lid has trace of glue staining to back panel. O/w just light edge wear. Tight and clean. Fine. Bank has just tiniest traces of wear but is N. Mint and as nice as can be found.
