First is Whitman linen-like book No. 928 copyright 1938. Twelve pages with large full color story art, different illustration appears on front/back cover. Scattered trace of cover aging, Fine. Contents show only slight aging and are VF/Exc. Second is 11x12.5" French Hachette book ©1937. Glossy card stock cover with 12 pages featuring story art in both bw and full color. Moderate cover aging and handling wear with some light creases. Bottom spine edge has archival tape repair on inside to a 3" split. VG. Contents lightly aged but VF. Scarce edition. From the Joel Cohen Collection.
