Item Description
1.75" from early 1900s features black bird perched on a tree branch. Primary center text is "Ask For Kaw Mills Hosiery And Underwear." Red stocking in black bird's beak reads "Kaw Fills The Bill" and branch reads "Will Wear Well." Outer edge has name of Kansas City firm "Smith-McCord And Townsend Dry Goods Company." No backpaper but has W&H curl imprint. Surface has some general wear along with just a few virtual pinpoint size nicks all of which barely shows at all without magnification. Rare and only example we've seen.
