Item Description
7.5" tall comes in box nicely illustrated on all sides. 1940. Box noticeably dented on side panels, additional scattered trace of edge wear. Few small pencil/tape stain marks. Box is still tight and Rare. VG/Fine. Doll has wood jointed body, head is composition, complete with oilcloth collar and felt bow tie. Typically, this is found with a white collar. This is an unusual variety with red/yellow/blue striped collar and as issued. Only about 40% of the hat band accent remains. Chest decal has a few tiny flakes but is 98% complete. Head shows only slight wear, it does not exhibit the typical crazing. Body has very light wear and remains glossy and clean. For this type of doll, still an Exc. example and rarely found this nice.
