Auction #183 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1290 in auction 183
Item Description
1.75" depicting steaming locomotive coming towards the viewer with the engine front designed as a model "910" pocketwatch. Near very center of button celluloid has 1/16" hairline crack that barely shows without magnification. Surface has couple of additional very faint small scratches but again just showing in reflected light and very minor. Piece displays Exc. with perfect centering and high gloss. No backpaper if it had one and this is only the second example we've ever seen. From the early 1900s and out of the Hake collection. A classic.
