Item Description
7.5" tall painted and glazed ceramic, Underside is marked "Shorter & Son-England c. 1930s. Obviously done in the Wade-Heath style (see previous item #1883). Figural handle is of the Big Bad Wolf who holds onto top of rim. Outside of pitcher has high relief design with images of the Three Pigs walking along countryside with house in bkg. One pig bears resemblance to Fiddler Pig while the other 2 are dressed in jackets and ties. Pig on back of pitcher stands by pond. Exc. Strangely charming.
