Item Description
Matching pair, nicely made and detailed, each about 19" tall. c. 1930s. Matching cloth-stuffed bodies have detailed stitching on faces which have pie-cut oilcloth eyes. Mickey is depicted in his classic red shorts with 2 white plastic buttons and matching red neckerchief. Minnie is depicted in cloth skirt and lace bloomers with matching red cloth scarf and green felt shoes, her trademark pillbox hat atop her head with yarn and cloth flower. Flower shows some wear and both dolls are evenly aged with some minor fading to clothes. Fine+. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
