Item Description
Pair of 7.5" tall display boxes each contain "Hand Decorated" hard plastic pieces. These were sold at Disneyland as well as regular retail outlets. ©1968. First set is #887 "Donald Duck's Express" and includes 3" long train with Donald figure as well as additional figures of Goofy and Pluto. Box insert depicts train tracks, tunnel, mountains, etc. Missing cellophane window but box is Exc. with Mint contents. Second set is #888 "Donald Duck's Whirly-Bird." Includes "Copter" with Donald figure plus same Goofy and Pluto figures. Insert bkg. scene depicts airport. Cellophane window has 1.5" corner split but intact. Light box wear. VF with Mint contents. Box back panels show the six different sets in the series which also included 2 for Mickey and 2 for Mowgli from Jungle Book. Neat design. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
