Item Description
27.25X41" poster for c. 1931 Paramount "Talkartoon." Poster features images of Betty Boop, Bimbo, Bimbo's baby brother Aloysius as well as Koko the Klown. Images (with exception of Koko) similar to 1931 Betty Boop & Bimbo cartoon "Minding The Baby." In this cartoon (Betty's 9th appearance), she still sports her dog ears, not having fully made the jump to a human character. Shown on poster with full human appearance holding parasol. Done in dark blue, poster has text that reads "Another New Paramount Talkartoon" and shows familiar Paramount logo with text "Produced By Fleischer Studios Inc." Poster was at one point folded and has had some color touch-ups along fold lines. These are only really noticeable on Betty's dress and Koko's leg but these do not greatly detract from overall appearance. .75x4" area of slight discoloration in middle of "Talkartoon" text from tape repair to reverse. Poster remains bright and clean, with only the slightest trace of aging to white areas of poster mentioned only for complete accuracy. Technically Fine as linen-mounted, but if matted and framed, would display VF.
