Box holds 48 cards, 23 pairs of matching caricatures and their wives plus Old Maid and also Old Bachelor to make a total set of 24 pairs, 48 pieces. Characters include many different - Mr. & Mrs. Milk Skimmer, Mr. & Mrs. Sissy Boy, Mr. & Mrs. Peewee, Mr. & Mrs. Brains and Mr. & Mrs. Lazy Cop whose baby is shown on his wife's lap suckling on a hose attached to a bottle marked "Graft". One of the earliest Old Maid games, pre-1900, probably around 1880-85. Cards show wear from light to moderate in the form of aging and handling. Overall still Fine.
