Item Description
6" long cast iron base holds 4" tall painted cast iron figure. Late 1880s. By Gong Bell, famous bell toy manufacturer. Base is marked in raised letters "Tramp" and "No. 47." When pushed along, highly detailed tramp figure with green coat and black pants swings back and forth causing two weights to strike the bells at each movement. This toy also has cast iron wheels with heart cut-outs. Light wear to paint on base. VF. A classic early bell toy.
