Item Description
7" long cast iron. Early 1900s. As toy is pushed along, striker hits both bells. Figure of boy is cast wearing coat and knickers. Holds candlestick telephone to one ear. Wear in the form of some light oxidation to bells and other plated parts. Figure itself is Exc. Rest of toy is Fine. An interesting opservation is that as telephones became more common, they were incorporated in the designs of toys such as this. See next item #1322.
