Item Description
39.5x60" sign on .25" thick cardboard. c. late 1940s - early 1950s. Sign features "The Champagne Goddess! Sparkling Tere Sheehan" in a veiled headdress, lacy sleeves and pasties. Noticeable wear at edges/corners with some corners rounded off. Overall VG, but still impressive display piece. Obtained through the Roxy Theater of Cleveland, OH, a nationally-known burlesque house that operated from 1933-1977 in some form of adult entertainment or another. Scarce.
