Item Description
7x10.25" envelope contains complete and unused set by Reed & Associates ©Fawcett Publications Inc. c. 1944. Both a store item and a club premium, scarcer than others in this series (not part of the quantity find years ago of similar items by Reed). Envelope shows light wear and aging. VF. Set consists of 2 items - a die-cut cardboard frame and 7x13.5" perforated thin cardboard sheet with full-color illustrations of Captain Marvel, his alter-ego Billy Batson and a lightning bolt, printed in alternating sections. This perforated sheet was to be assembled to the frame in such a way that when you look at it and move from side to side, it appears as if Billy is changing into Capt. Marvel. Comes with original long strip of white paper tape, wrapped around and adhered to the picture frame. Perforated sheet is unused and N. Mint. Frame is Exc.
