Item Description
19-7/8x30-3/8" poster for 1913 Broadway play starring Laurette Taylor and written by her husband Jay Hartley Manners. Lithography by the Strobridge Litho Co., poster shows embraced couple with woman sitting in chair packed and ready to go with her dog sitting on suitcase and text "Ethel! - Please Don't: It's So Hot This Morning!" Poster has some small chips to margins which have had some restoration. 1.5" tear at lower left-hand side margin. Main lithography image remains clean and bright and if framed and matted, poster would display Exc. Comes with 5.25x7 7/8" 8-page program that features several bw photos from play. Also included is page of reviews. Back cover has "New Dayton Theatre" imprint. Program printed by Dana T. Bennett Co. Folded at center with moderate dust soiling and moisture stains at corners. VG.
