Item Description
Beautifully designed 1" shows balloon with "Stalwart" over-printed. Slogan below "Where Shall We Light." Reverse has W&H backpaper used 1900-1912. Paper has 5 neatly inked letters and numerals along the margin edge which appear to be quite old. One of the very earliest balloon depiction buttons we know of and the only example we've seen.
