Item Description
Set of sixteen 3.75x5.5" postcard featuring RCA Victor recording artists, mostly band leaders. 1944. Each card features beautiful art by Albert Fisher with a short biographical blurb on the reverse. Stars include: Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Perry Como, Freddy Martin, Hal McIntyre, Charlie Spivak, The King Sisters, David Rose, "Fats" Waller, Sammy Kaye, Lena Horne, Vaughn Monroe, Spike Jones and Dinah Shore. Cards are unused and Mint. Come with original 4x6.5" envelope which reads "Here They Are...The TOPS In Sweet And Swing Stars All On Victor & Bluebird Records." Features RCA Nipper logo image. Envelope has aging and lt. wear. VF/Exc. Great set.
