4.25x6.25x5.5" tall figural painted and glazed ceramic mug depicts funnyman Durante's head as a mug. From same c. 1940s series as #s1314-1315, 1274-1275. Durante's likeness is caricature and features the humorous use of his prominent nose (which has been enlarged some) as a handle. We have offered a variety of this mug in the past which featured pointy white shirt collars, the version we are offering here does not feature the pointed collar and is blue as produced. Unmarked, but obvious Barclay design. Typical all-over hairline crazing. Still glossy and Exc.
