Item Description
3.25x4" glass transparency slide for projection in movie houses to announce upcoming 1918 serial starring Elmo Lincoln as Tarzan. This is for the second Tarzan movie ever made and is "The Concluding Chapters Of 'Tarzan Of The Apes'" and is the sequel to the first Tarzan movie. Story is based on the second part of the Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Tarzan Of The Apes" novel. This film is a lost film as no prints of it are known to have survived. Slide shows Elmo Lincoln as Tarzan and Enid Markey as Jane sitting on large tree branch. William A. Lochren's slides. Black taped edges as is the norm. Paper "frame" has .25" to .5" streak of staining along right-hand side. Slide itself remains clean and Exc. Rare.
