Item Description
5.5" tall with base glazed in light gray, bust un-glazed and all in white. Complete with felt on underside though it shows some wear and fading. One of various sizes that were offered beginning in MAD #3 in Mar., 1960. Probably issued as a satire as the small busts of composers which were popular at the time. The model for the head was sculpted by a noted MAD cover artist Kelly Freas and this size originally sold for $2.00. Scattered lt. dust soiling to un-painted portion, o/w N. Mint display.
