Item Description
Approximately 58" tall thin linen parade costume with large bw image of Felix with his name on chest. c. mid-1920s. Costume bears Pat Sullivan copyright underneath Felix's foot. Felix also has 3 attached ribbon whiskers (1 missing). Back side has attached 24" long fabric-covered rope tail. Main body of costume is yellow with black ruffled bands at collar, wrist and ankle cuffs, each ending in white piping. Ankle cuffs have attached bells. Costume has noticeable scattered staining below waist in a few areas underneath Felix's feet, Felix's crotch and beside his tail. Neat design. Rare and first we've seen.
