Item Description
14" tall marionette with hard plastic head, composition hands and molded plastic feet, fabric costume and wooden arms/legs. Comes in original Hazelle's box. c. mid-1950s. Model #804 (Jill). Comes with 8.25x13.75" theater script page as well as 9x12.25" script page with "Jack And Jill Meet Bimbo The Clown" comic strip. This shows wear with 2.5" tear at fold line. VG, other is Exc. Marionette shows light aging and is Exc. Box shows moderate handling wear with color rubs at corners and edges, 3.5" tear along side with .25" puncture to main lid. VG. Second marionette is Model #917 (Magic Fairy), 14.75" tall with hard plastic head, hands and molded plastic feet, fabric costume and wooden arms/legs. Shows age and is VF. Box shows lt. handling wear/aging with color rubs at edges. 3" tear to lid. VG/Fine. Included with marionette is 8.5x11" 4-page advertising folder, cover which has full-color advertisements for talking marionettes. Folded as issued with light wear. Exc. Also comes with same theater sheets as "Jill." VF. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
