Item Description
Painted composition figures, both c. 1930s. Both depict Charlie in top hat and tails. 12.75" tall figure shows light paint wear to pants and has scattered craze lines. Original metal loop monacle still attached. Fine+. 12.5" tall Charlie has jointed head and mouth which has been glued. .25" crack at chin. Original string with bone pull for operating Charlie's mouth still present. Scattered wear and craze lines to paint, more noticeable on white areas. Back of Charlie's hat brim shows restoration. .75" crack behind ear. VG.
