Item Description
Three items from 1943-1944 promoting the Disney film that shows how long-range airpower could cause the defeat of the Axis and Japan during WWII. First is 8x10" movie still. Depicts U.S. torpedo planes divebombing Japanese warships. Lt. handling wear, tack holes at corners. Fine. The other two items are 8.5x11" magazines, each w/cover art based on/relating to the Disney film. First is "Liberty" July 31, 1943 issue. Cover theme includes American eagle, nice two-page full color article w/film scenes. Second is "The Inland Printer" May 1944. Cover art includes factory shaped like a swastika which is under attack, text includes "Used In Advertising Of Lockheed Aircraft Corp." Both issues have cover wear/aging. Fine. Nice lot for this Disney war years classic.
