Item Description
8.5" long painted cast iron by Gong Bell c. 1914. When beautifully designed toy is pushed along the Kid in back is highly animated, moving back and forth as his hand-held bell rings. Some paint wear, mostly evident on the front of the Captain's hat and the Kids' face. Overall still has about 85% of paint. Toy has three original heart-shaped cutout wheels plus one matching vintage wheel replacement. All wheels' hubs have been reinforced w/a bit of solder at some point. Overall Fine. A nice example of this classic comic character bell toy.
