5x7-3/8x1.5" deep die-cut box issued by Acme Plastic Toys Inc. contains "Famous Komics In Movie Style" set. 1947 Famous Artists Syndicate. Set #900 contains films of Smitty, Smiling Jack and Invisible Scarlet O'Neill, each in matching boxes. Box lid is loose at hinge and moderately aged. Displays VF. Contents are Exc. Film viewer contains Orphan Annie film. Box insert shows Annie, Smokey Stover, Denny Dimwit and others. Box lid shows Dick Tracy, Orphan Annie, Gasoline Alley, Clyde Beatty, Winnie Winkle, The Gumps, Harold Teen, Smitty, Smiling Jack, Don Winslow and others. Second item is 3x6x.75" deep projector gun films box showing boy and girl using gun to view films. Characters shown are Kayo, Dick Tracy, Skeezix and Orphan Annie. Side panel shows art of these 4 plus 10 others. Box end flap lists films which are inside. Includes: Dick Tracy, Terry And The Pirates, Smitty, Orphan Annie and Winnie Winkle. ©1937 AMCO.
